Bug: Undercities do not work?

I ran some tests with undercities vs. regular cities.

20 bases with undercities (100,000 colonists)
20 bases with regular cities (100,000 colonists)

Each base was attacked by a Lizard-owned Sepent Class Escort, equipped
with Blaster Cannons.

2 bases with undercities survived. In both bases, the ship never got
close enough to fire its Blaster Cannons.

9 bases with regular cities survived. Of those nine, 2 of them
survived because the ship never got close enough to fire its blaster
cannons.

It would appear that having undercities does absolutely nothing to
protect your base from orbital bombardment.

Roger,

Did you create a VPS for this test or did you set them up manually?

Just asking, cos if someone was to reproduce this test then having some
VPS scripts would greatly improve testing time. And would complete the
Bug report on Wiki.
