We're using a Cisco Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router, model WRT160N v3.
We have two desktops and are connected to COX and should be averaging between 13-15 mbps download speed.
If we unplug the router from the electrical outlet and then plug it back in, we get 15 mbps. However, after a day or two the download speed starts to drop off, and after a few days we're down to averaging 1 mbps consistantly. But if we unplug the router and then plug it back in again, we're back up to 15 mbps and the cycle continues....
We did a system check, and the wireless settings check out okay. Any ideas about what might be going on and how to correct the problem?
