Just kidding. This chip couldn't beat an unlocked XP2500+ if it had to. Tried it all around the horn on a new NF7-S and it won't go past 2.1ghz. Woof, Woof! 30K in Aquamark3 with a 9600XT. Hoowwwwwwwwwwwwwwl!

Phrase it that way next time. Something like, "I have one real sucko CPU for sale. It is unlocked but it might as well be locked. Guaranteed to overclock little while remaining at SuperNova temperatures"

LOL gotta remember that one when I sell off one of my older machines. Its another barton 2500 system (download b!tch) that I have to use a peilter to make it break 2.2ghz with 2.1v but just use stock on it.

Some of the early Bartons have a lot of trouble with a 200mhz buss no matter what. This one likes 10.5 X 200mhz but gets too hot even with Zalman. Can do 12 X 170mhz but hot also. It won't boot at all with a 10X multiple. I could do 10 X 220mhz otherwise. 11 X 180mhz is perfectly stable.

I'm afraid I'm stuck with 2.1ghz for this one. Changed the fan to a Thermaltake and lost 15C! However, this one will boot with a 206mhz buss, so I guess you want to trade me Phial! OK
