Will this setup run WOW on ultra?

My specs are : e5200 OC to 3ghz
GTS 450 1gb
6gb ddr2 ram
500gb black caviar HDD

Probably not....the processor is only dual core... My system with i7 870, 8gb DDR3-1600, GTX460 1GB OC'd to 850/4000 struggles a bit on Ultra (30-50fps without v-sync)

You might be able to....but don't expect much in the way of framerates seeing as how WoW is heavily CPU bound

Thats not going to be possible, as mentioned it should play it, but not with ultra settings,
Triplecore at 3.0 is what you want

I would guess the best results would be around mid or low settings.

With the changes made to the graphics engine through patches over the course of the last 2 years, the game has been made very much multi-core aware and as such the performance of the game improves as the physical core count increases. It's been suggested by Blizzard Tech Support that the game supports all current and future multi-core processors regardless of physical core count and that performance will scale with physical core count. Notice I said "physical" core count, as HyperThreading can actually cause performance loss....

Yup, I'd actually say low to lowmid turn sunshafts and shadows off lower particle density and all the 'unnecessary' polish effects

I diagree a bit with everyone though Ultra may not be playable due to frame rates an Athlon x 2 at 3.2 GHz would be nearly playable see:

and your CPU generally gets 60-75% of the frame rates in Anandtechs comparisons plus WOW prefers intel and nvidia hardware I would think it should be playable on high. A 1st generation i3 is really the minimum you want for ultra see:

Considering I was able to play it at high @40 fps at 1080p with a gts250 you will easily be able to play at high at 1600 resolution.
