I'm looking at buying a new Dell with an Core i5 2410M and AMD Radeon™ HD 6470M. I'm not a gamer, generally, but do want the option for the future. Run video regularly. Would be the primary computer. Is this worth the money?

Depends on what the money is. 6470M can probably do low for all games but you'll probably want at least an ATI 5650M/6530M or nVidia 420M/525M. Those GPU's start showing up at around 600-800 dollars.Thanks ... took your advice and got one with nVidia 525M. Think it will serve my purposes better based on fps it can handle.
