Can\'t get net to recognize printer

I am having a problem getting my printer to link up with my net's. I have an HP J4680 all-in-one that is supposed to be wireless, yet I am having difficulty in adding it to my wireless net in my home. I have reloaded all of the software yet can find no way of adding it to my net.. Can someone please explain to me what I am doing wrong
