My new build with an ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 motherboard wont start up

Hello.

I am having problems with my new computer build. The computer refuses to start up, even though I have the power source on and the wire in a surge protector. It's like the front panel buttons are unresponsive, but I know I have the cords for those set into the motherboard.

Specifications:

-Antec Nine-Hundred case

-ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 motherboard

-8 GB (2x 4GB) Corsair XMS3 memory

-Corsair GS 700 watt power source

-AMD Phenom II Black Edition processor

I'm a total idiot with this kind of thing, because I am 13 and this is my first build. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Does anything happen at all? Light, beeps, etc?
