Need help configuring X58A-UD3R memory

Hi,

So I have purchased this new ram kit

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220497&Tpk=n82e16820220497

I had a simular posting with the same motherboard, just differnet kit
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum2.php?config=tomshardwareus.inc&cat=30&post=306365&page=1&p=2&sondage=0&owntopic=1&trash=0&trash_post=0&print=0&numreponse=0&quote_only=0&new=0&nojs=0

I need some assistance on how to properly configure this memory
Here is a quick summary of my current configuration

X58A- UD3R MB
650W Corsair PS
1TB WD Craiver HD
16X DVD-RW
Nvidia GT 240 GC

Here is the voltage info from CPUZ

JEDEC #1
Volt 1.50 V

JEDEC #2
Volt 1.50V

XMP 1600
Volt: 1.650V

Hope i can get some help on this? Thanks

Check this, make sure the box is cleared @ Max RAM

  4. Yea their is no check mark on max ram option in msconfig
  5. If that doesn't help, re-seat the RAM in the slot!
  6. If that doesn't help, increase the voltage by 0.05V.
  7. And just to be sure, it is the Win7 Pro x64, right?

Correct I am currently running win 7 professional x64

Increase the volt for one or all

All is fine, but re-seat the RAM first, remove and put back first.
  10. In "msconfig.exe" under the boot tab, click on Advanced options, then make sure that the Maximum memory box is unchecked.

    If u have ....
Also check your BIOS settings to make sure that "Memory mapping" is enabled.

If it is, then you may need to update your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version.
