Acer Aspire AS5253-BZ602 15.6" Notebook, E-350 (1.60GHz)

So they both come with 2GB of RAM. The HP notebook comes with Windows 7 32-bit, the Acer comes with 64-bit OS.

The HP has a more powerful processor, AMD athlon II Dual-core 2.2 Ghz but it has worse graphics, Radeon HD 4250

The acer notebook, comes with the 1.6Ghz dual-core processor but has the Radeon HD 6310. Which would you buy?

The hp is a better buy since they are both laptops for basic usage (surfing the web, entertainment, work) , hp probooks are known to be solid business laptops besides the cpu in this one is better, and the integrated gpu in that acer is not going to give you any gaming. for better multitasking go with the better cpu. quality wise i never owned this acer model but my dad owns a probook that he uses for work and swears by it even though they tend to be quite heavy and bulky. besides acer is not known for quality laptops on their entry level aspire series.
