Ati Radeon 9800 pro 128mb vs. Ati Radeon x1600 pro 512mb???

Hello,
I'm trying to find out if the 9800Pro is better than the X1600. My 9800 plays videos without hesitation, whuile the X1600 keeps catching up with the buffer and stops

I think they are both pretty close to each other, the x1600 may be slightly better.

Both are pretty old.
