I just got a THinkPad T42, which as many people here probably know, does not
have Firewire. Anyone here using a PCMCIA Firewire card? Any
caveats/problems with using such a card? Is the speed the same as an
unadulterated Firewire port? Any specific recs concerning the most reliable
cards?

Thank you for any thoughts.
