Background:
I recently bought two PGD38G1333ELK kits for my Asrock Pro3-M motherboard.
I was having BSOD's until I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and found one of the sticks to be faulty.
I exchanged one of the kits for a new one. However, the new kit (same model number - PGD38G1333ELK ) is labeled 1.5V instead of 1.65V.
The machine will boot the 1.65V sticks but not the 1.5V sticks (individually, not trying to mix at this point). With the 1.5V sticks, I power on and then I get a restart about second later (repeating).
Question: Is it possible that both 1.5V sticks are bad? Or is it possible that the board is incompatible with the 1.5V ram? I'm stumped, and frustrated of course.
Thanks!
