8800GT VS HD 3870

Which graphics card to choose when you have the choice of these 2?as much as i have concerned 8800gt has physx.if both are around $60.which one to go with.donot have choice of any other card cuz others are very expensive and high end.i would like to max out any game at 1024 x 768.which is more powerful?
