The firmware BEFW11S4-v1_v1.44.2_fw,0.zip does not work- error message

I am trying to upgrade my LINKSYS router to get the latest version and to get the WPA security.

When i go in the Configurqtion of the router and do Upgrade Firmware after having downloaded the version corresponding to my device (version 1.44.2)
i starts the upgrade but stop saying tha the upgrade is not finshed and there is an error.

So What to do to get the newer firmware?

Possibly you have to unzip the downloaded file to a new folder ? Then direct the router to that folder when it requests an update file.

Incidentally DO NOT try to update firmware while the router is connected wirelessly to the computer. Use an ethernet cable between router and computer.
