I've posted here a while ago but I've managed to get some more money so my budget is now ~300$

I'm changing my gtx260 core-216 to some other, newer card. I'm thinking about:

GTX460 768 (evga SuperOverclocket or gigabyte OC)
GTX460 1024 (a.b.)

Or should I patiently wait for gtx560 release? :)

Rest of my rig:

Q6600 @3Ghz
3Gb Ram DDR2 800
Chieftec 450W (i know it's poor but if I'll have to I'll change it)

More about : choosing card

I've got a Q6600 as well. It's at 3.5 and I have the XFX 6870 it runs very nicely able to put my graphics up quite a bit higher while still managing good frames. Definite noticeable improvement over my GTS 250.

to me there is only one choice if you are stepping up from a gtx 260................... wait for the gtx 560 it will be the best value imo.

Also Ill give a +1 to getting a new psu which the op will no doubt have to do, instead of running some cheap no name low wattage psu.

Ok. I'll wait for gtx560 then and see the prices. If they're to high, I'll go for HD6870 (if it'll be cheaper that is)
