I have a Gigabyte Ga x58a ud3r mobo
intel i 7 930
6gb corsair ram ddr3
pny gtx 580
corsair h50
intel x25 40gb ssd x 2 was raid when functioning wasnt when crashed
So this started because my ssd raid array was slower than a regular ssd for the lack of a TRIM so I figured maybe updating the bios would help, before I did I encountered a problem It said incorrect file size on the QFlash

The latest bios are 2mb and apparently the ones my mobo can take are 1mb. yet @BIOS was useless and I couldnt update my qflash.

Thing is, when I moved my bios and I havent even updating them, my pc started to reboot randomly and crash a lot. So I said thats it... this BIOS are faulty... so I formated my drives and reinstalled windows without the raid array to make it even simpler. As soon as I could I attempted to update BIOS but this time was successI used @BIOS. I rebooted, but I get a black screen.

I feel terrible... I got a copy of the BIOS before the update but all i get is a black screen so no luck installing it.. help please... I have exams next week... There has to be something I can do.

FH version is what I installed.

Your Mobo has a dual BIOS feature.

"DualBIOS™ - Patented Dual Hardware BIOS Protection
DualBIOS™ is a GIGABYTE patented technology that automatically recovers BIOS data when main BIOS has crashed or failed. Featuring 2 physical BIOS ROMs integrated onboard, GIGABYTE DualBIOS™ allows quick and seamless recovery from BIOS damage or failure due to viruses or improper BIOS updating."

If you can enter BIOS, but your OS doesn't load, chances are your problem may be elsewhere. Maybe your Raid driver is shot, you can try loading or re-installing without raid.
