Need help find memory upgrade for my FX6831-01

It's not just the speed you need to look at, you also need to read the cas rating and voltage.

The Crucials are Cas11 at 1.35v. The Gskill are a much faster Cas9 at 1.5v.

Are you trying to run these with exisiting ram, or replacing the existing ram altogether?

What cpu and motherboard chipset? Either way the Gskills are MUCH better and have heatsinks.

Thanks for the reply, currently there are 8GB of ram in the system, they are all 10600 memories. If I get the GSKILL 12800 memory, should I replace all of them? so there will be 4 pieces of 4GB 12800,total 16GB, instead of 4 pieces of 2GB 10600, total 8GB.

here is the spec of my system:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5625772&CatId=4928

Should I get 10600 or 12800 memory?

After your suggestion, I'm now comparing the following two products:

1. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231422

2. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314

Thanks again for the help!

Because my system become slow, and I use Photoshop, video software for webdesign at the same time, also, when I check the memory usage, it always at 90%.

or is there a memory program I can use to try to free up some memory before I do this physical upgrade?

thanks again!

You still haven't answered my original question so, really can't help you anymore without knowing the answers.

I certainly wouldn't go with the 1066. I would go with DDR3-1600 cas9, 1.5v.
