Dropped graphics card

Hi all,
I just picked up a 6970 Gigabyte, and while i was out shopping. I dropped it on the floor while it was in the box. Not a high fall but it made a loud thump, just wandering if there would be any damage to it or if that would be serious as it would be a month before i get to use it. (I"m overseas) Just a bit paranoid, as this would be my first major pricey upgrade in awhile. Don't want it to be dead by the time I use it.
