What is the difference between "DDR PC2 - 5300" and "DDR PC2 - 6400".

I want to upgrde from 2 to 4 Gigs RAM.

How do I know what speed the chips I already have are?

Thank you,

Joe

Thanks Nikorr,

I wasn't sure if the 5300-6400 were speeds & if so, which is the fasterof the two?

And Thanks for the heads up on the email, I hadn't thought about the spammers.
I'll be sure not to include it anymore.
