Would like some feedback on this setup. This is the first time i have attempted to build a computer so any critique would be great. This will be a triple monitor display setup.
Basically what i need to know is:
A- Will this work? lol
B- Will i need anything else? (cables ect.)
Would like to support Zenthar in the call for the i5 - looks to be the best value out there right now (unless you want to dump some $$, then go for the i7).
In my view, the better reason for going with the Asus board is reliability - Asus is pretty much the king of mobo manufacturers - extremely high quality, and excellent service. Grab pretty much any Asus P8P67 - I'm personally a fan of the Asus P8P67 EVO, but it appears newegg is out.
On a similar note of quality - for the video card I would recommend nvidia, and EVGA. Either a GTX 460 or 470 - judging by the price you were looking at for the radeon. I've always found Nvidia cards to have much more lasting power - value is king (unless you want to make a new computer every year or two...it is fun after all).
Echoing support on getting an SSD - a 64 or 128 SSD for the main OS and programs, then grab a 2 TB drive for extra stuff.
Not up to snuff on my heatsinks yet, and I have no familiarity with Asus monitors (though I wouldn't necessarily think they would be amazing).
