I am trying to get a bit more out of my aging system while I plan an upgrade later in the year.

I am planning to SLI my EVGA 256-P2-N624-AR GeForce 7900GS 256MB with a matching card. I currently have a 550W power supply, so the question is is that enough to SLI the video cards?

I have done this my self with two evga 7900gs ko editions. It is not worth it unless you only play old games or use the picture in picture function that these cards support. I suggest that you buy a more modern card and game on that instead. 8800/9800gt will be more than enough while there are plenty of choices out there like a gts 450/gtx 460.
