Hi all,

I am looking for a place on the web that can help me figure out
what laptops are available (from any vendor) that suite my needs.

I.e. I would like to find a webpage that would allow me to enter some
criteria (like : wireless LAN, bluetooth, weight, etc. etc.) and that
would return me the laptops that match

I have found some that do the above more or less (like ZDNet) but that are
far too restrictive with respect to selection criteria

Hi,
I want to have the following minimum config :

1. 512MB Ram
2. Intel P4 or Centrino
3. Bluetooth and latest wireless capabilities
4. 80GM HDD
5. DVD R/W

For me weight doesnot matter (doesnot mean i am ok with the desktop.)

I am a developer and would like to use the laptop with my deveopment
activities at home. so XP professional edition should be good.(Lets
worry about how to get the development env later)

(Making it a dual boot with linux as another OS is also an option.)

Does any one has any idea? Ofcourse , i would like to get it at a good
price. Is there any one who has been using laptops like NEC or from
other vendors who can give us a better price?

Thanks
Sricharan

Hi
Check out the edealsinfo site. Once you decide on the notebook, you
might get a discount coupon there.
