Mainly using it for PS CS5 and a bit of gaming. Possibly will use it occasionally for 3D modelling and/or video editing, but isn't a priority.

I will NOT be OC'ing at all, so no need to upgrade to the K version of the CPU, and I would assume that I also don't need an aftermarket cooler?

If there's anything wrong, or there is something else that could fit better, please point it out. The case and CPU are a must, so please, if you are going to change anything around, keep those and it's a budget of ~$900. Everything listed is only what I need, so no mouse, keyboard, etc.

Thank you!

Thank you for the input, I'll take that PSU change under consideration. However, the small money saves on shipping isn't very important, I'm buying all these at once, so it's only like $15 for all of it.

I've decided to mimic this build with the exception of the GPU and I have a question.

If I got the ASUS 5850 seen here, do you guys think would I be able to get by with that CORSAIR CX500 Builder Series that was mentioned by WR2 above or would I need to go up to the CX600 to be on the safe side?

Both are the same price and I'm sure some may think it's a stupid question, but I haven't built a machine or even upgraded one in 10+ years, so my product knowledge is a bit horrid nowadays.

Thanks for any replies and apologies for the thread jack
