Should I keep 8GB or take 4GB out and put in other system for OC?

Hey guys I have a question

I recently purchased an extra 4GB of DDR2-1066 memory, to expand my RAM from 4GB to 8GB. I understand more RAM means better performance, but I was just wondering if I was better off leaving the 8GB RAM in there or putting it in another system of mines which has an E6300.

The system with the E6300 currently has 4GB of DDR2-667 RAM and I can only overclock it up to 2.0GHz (stable overclock), mainly because my motherboard automatically overclocks the RAM together with the CPU (no way to override it). So should I put in 1066 RAM in there and overclock with that instead or just leave the 8GB at my system and leave the C2D E6300 @ 2GHz?

You're not going to gain much by adding 1066 ram. Your limited overclock may be due to the cpu limits.

But I've seen reports online saying this CPU can overclock easily to as high as 3.6GHz with good enough memory and cooling.
