Is it possible to put a GTX 260M In a Gateway P6860Fx without an complications

You can't alter(changeout) anything in a laptop.

Technically yes, depending if its MXM type III. The cost will be expensive, I believe around $350. Make sure its MXM type III though, because if it isn't, then it won't fit. The other complication is that the BIOS won't recognize the card, or drivers won't install. The fan may not run well, and it may overheat. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you find out that it is MXM type III, then you can try.
