Can i play any games at all

building my own budget compter and the spec's are as follows

AMD Athlon II x2 240 cpu regor

1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM SATA 3.0gb

Foxconn M61PMP-K AM3 motherboard

G.skill 2x 2GB DDR3

XFX ATI Radeon 5670 HD video card

500watt PSU

i know it's not gonna be kicking *** in games but hope i can play some on med-high. any idea what my performace would be like. FPS's in games. one game i want to play is Civ 5 on high settings

Overall it depends on your resolution. Civ 5 is not as demanding as first person shooters.

Well yes Civ5 doesn't rely on the graphics card so much, but will his CPU be enough? You'll definitely be able to play it, yes but IDK about the framerate when maxed...

CIV 5 should play okay. The PC is above the minimum requirements, but below the recommended.

I'd say download the playable demo before buying the game.
