Forum CPU & Components : Other Components How good is this pc?

Word :    Username :

Well I actually have some questions regarding the new pc I'm building.

This is what I have in Mind:

CASE:
Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $99.99

GPU:
HIS H685F1GD Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity $159.99

Power Supply
CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 (CMPSU-650HX) 650W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply $119.99

RAM:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL $45.99

Now, This is the first time I build a Pc, and I wanna know if my hardware is compatible, I don't wanna get any "bottlenecks" or stuff.

The second thing is: What am I missing? I know I don't have a sound card or a Network card. Could you recommned me one?

The third and last thing: I'm actually kind of low in my budget so I want you to tell me which components you think I don't actually need. (I wanna reduce the overall price by $500 ) -- DONE!! Thanks :)

That's it. Sorry If you don't get me, I'm not a native english speaker :D

Why are you going to get a i-5 750? I recommend
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] -_-Product
instead.

If you are on a budget there are monitors for 125 ish that work just as good.
Do you really need a 2 tb hd? a 500gb is $40
You don't need a $154 case. There are ones for $50
That video card is WAYYYYYYYY too overpriced... Get a ati 6850 / 6870

First off, the build cannot work. The i5-750 is LGA 1156 and the motherboard is LGA 1366, the CPU wont fit in the socket. I recommend switching to an i5-2500K and a Z68 motherboard. Also since a Z68 motherboard will be dual channel get 2 or 4 sticks of ram, either a 2x4GB kit or a 4x2GB, i suggest 2x4 as it leaves you an upgrade path in the future.

If you are tight on budget i would suggest dropping down to a more reasonably price monitor, you can get some very nice LED LCD screens for a bit under 200, no need to pay $570 for one, especially if its not an IPS screen.

Swap that 2TB caviar green out for a 2TB caviar black, it will be a lot faster.

Single 12V rail or multiple 12V rails?

Thaks for all your advises. As I told you I'm really new into this so I don't really know whats good or not.

I've updated the first post with my new Hardware, in order to make it easier for other people to follow the post.

Now: What do you think of it?
P.D. THANKS!! Now my "shopping cart" went from $1900 to $1214.82, which is way more affordable. Still I wouldn't mind reducing other 100-200 bugs, but sincerely I think I can make an effort and pay that price, in order to get a PC a little better :)

EDIT: Ok! so now the final price of my PC is $1010, which is totally perfect. Thanks guys! you helped me reduce my PC price by $900 :D

You can get a good case for closer to $50, such as the Antec 300.
You only need 4GB of ram for gaming, not 12GB.
You could save a little on the power supply, but you still need to buy a good brand.
If you are going to overclock then you should buy a good aftermarket cpu cooler. If you aren't going to overclock then you don't need the "K" series cpu.
