Should i buy 5750 for this machine?

Hello,
i have intel c2d 2.6 ghz, marcury pnmcp73v board with nvidia 7 series graphics onboard and 3gb of ram.
Im planning to buy xfx radeon hd 5750 xxx. should i buy it?

That would probably create a bottleneck, but it's compatible.

Edit: Just noticed you wrote HD5750, not 5770. lol
Yes, go ahead it's a good card. Are you into gaming or what? What do you use computers for and what's your budget?

HD5750 > GTS450 > HD5770
What's your PSU?

I think a big question that was not asked is what is the native resolution of your monitor. If its 1680x1050 then a 5770 might be overkill. The best thing to do is first look at the res of your monitor, then look at Toms Best GFX card for the money to see which one is cheapest/best for that resolution (usually says it under the specs) and finally so see if it is compatible with your current system.
