Hello,
I have Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 2x4GB (the black kind in short), and when I was tweaking around in the BIOS, I noticed that it was running at 1333MHz. Can I bump it up to 1600? What settings must I change? I am running an ASUS P8Z68-V LX motherboard. I want to take full advantage of my memory.
Thanks.
And I'm very tired so expect a reply in 20 hours or so, haha, sorry bout that guys.

Solution
Goto the UEFI BIOS -> Switch to Advance Mode -> AI Tweater ->AI Overclock Turner -> choose ..X.M.P

this is the fastest way to set ... there still have other method manuelly set..

if you are using a 2nd generation i3/i5/I7 2K you will have to over clock to use the rams at 1600mhz,otherwise you are stuck with 1333 as max clock since its teh max memory clock they can support

I might do this but I have a question, is their really a noticeable difference in performance if I clock it at 1600MHz? I read some articles saying that it's not worth the hassle or time. Thoughts?
