hello guys, i would like to build new pc, , in terms of graphic card, i am thinking to get GTX 460 HAWK Talon Attack, i am not planing to over clock and not extremely gamer, but like to have some moderate gpu inside the new pc,, the things i am concerning about it is noise issue and maybe heat, while i like to get a graphic card support direct x 11 and have 250mbt interface that is my choice, currently i am using hd 4850, any advice appreciated it and thanks to all in advance.

The GTX460 Hawk Talon Attack is specifically designed for overclocking. One poster on these forums recently posted that he really liked how quiet his Hawk was, but reviews have tested it as being moderately quiet for a 460. The Hawk Talon Attack does come with a factory overclock and it does do a very good job at keeping the card cool, so it is a good choice, even if you don't plan to overclock yourself.

If you want a GTX460 that is quiet, the two quietest tested by Guru3d are:
Gigabyte GTX460 Superoverclock - 37Db
ECS GTX460 Black - 37Db
MSI GTX460 Hawk - 43Db

Just out of curiosity what is your budget? Gaming resolution? What will your mobo/CPU/RAM/PSU be? These all should be taken into account before you decide on your GPU.

Well being as that the Talon Hawk is 230 on Newegg, might I suggest you wait till next week when the GTX 560s come out? I could be wrong but I heard they will be priced at 250 dollars and should be quite a bit better than a Talon Hawk (10 percent fast than a GTX 470). If I'm wrong about that price/performance someone will correct me fast haha.

thanks alot, so i wait even newegg can not post to uk, but if i am not wrong, u mean if i get gtx 580 would be better in term of noise, i am sure it is highest performance, i am not gamer mainly like video editing but sure i want to play some game aswell, so if i get good deal on gtx 580 i will buy it, i am not in rush because i need the pc by next 4 months, currently i have desktop xps 430 by dell with hd 4850 512 mb. thanks for your advice Helltech and other 2 members.
