Can LCD tvs receive a signal from a computer?

I am considering buying an LCD TV, and it would be nice if it had an option where I could see games (such as Farmville, Mafia Wars, etc.) that I play on my computer on the TV. Do they make LCD TV's that do this? If so, what specs should I look for in the description to know that I'm getting that capability?

I may have chosen the wrong subcategory above. I'm not sure if it's the graphics card that has to be special for this, or something else.

Thanks!

Most LCD TVs will have an input for DVI or HDMI these days, if it has an HDMI in you can use a simply DVI to HDMI converter and plug it into the screen using it as a monitor.

Using TVs as monitors isnt usually the best idea since a TV is usually large but has the same number of pixels so each pixel is larger which can make text look blurry and images not as sharp, so if you are going to do it make sure you get a high resolution TV, if its going to be bigger than 24" it really needs to be 1080P(1920x1080) if you want to use it as a monitor
