Intel 1155 / 1156 Socket

i would like to know what is the difference between socket 1155 and 1156?
i'm looking at the following because of pricing, but want to make sure they
are going to work together.

No that 1156 board will not work with a 1155 socket cpu. Even though there is one pin missing from the CPU they use different timings, voltages, and bios's to support the new cpu.
