I am looking at purchasing a dell computer and have the choice between an ati radeon 1GB GDDR5 5670 or a 5770 1024MB GDDR5. I am not sure if there will be a major difference between the two. The processor I am chosing is an Intel® Core™ i7-2600 processor(8MB Cache, 3.4GHz).
Any opinions are appreciated. I am not a big gammer but I do watch videos on the internet.

If you are going to be playing any games at all the 5770 is much stronger, if you are not playing games the 5670 will do just fine for bluray and light gaming, if the prices are the same go for the 5770, if you care about graphic quality at all in games go for the 5770, it has more muscle. Either will play youtube or bluray movies flawlessly, so it comes down to; if you want to game get the 5770, if not then the 5670 will do and can also do some medium res, medium settings gaming but the 5770 is more powerful. What is your monitors resolution? I would definatley get the i5-2500k for gaming instead of the i7 it gets passed up by the i5, and no match a graphics card up to that processor of the same level you shoudl at least get a 5770 and probably at least 2 of them to take advantage of even a percentage of the cpu, to give you an idea

Thank you for the advice. I will look into the i5, I was wondering about getting the i5 instead of the i7. I read somewhere else that it would be the better option. I will also get the 5770, there is only a $50 price difference. Thank you.

I looked at the i5 and it doesn't give me a letter after it, I think i remember reading there are different ones. Here is all it says Intel® Core™ i5-2500 processor(6MB Cache, 3.3GHz).
