I recently build my new computer, here are its specs:
i7 950: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml...

GA-X58-USB3 LGA 1366 X58 ATX Intel Motherboard: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml...

WD Caviar Green 1TB: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml...

4gb corsair ram: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml...

HAF 922: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml...

Galaxy Nvidia GTX 465: (couldnt find link)

I have run into several issues:
- When I start the computer up, it turns on, then turns completely off, then back on again and stays on.
- No video output(video card LED lights and fan turns on)

I think they are all connected issues, can someone please help me fix them?

Hello Betrayed1336;

Did you ever have it running and stable? How long ago did you build it?

In that checklist you'll find a link for breadboarding, try it and let us know if it works.

Does your motherboard have a speaker?
Add 1 stick of RAM.

i fixed the speaker, i had it installed backwards. i also added one stick of ram to the DDR3_3 slot. i am now getting one beep every 10-30 seconds.

Try 1 stick in the 3_1 slot. If that doesn't work keep trying the other sticks of RAM.

I think you want the video card and monitor at this point.

Ok, so when i move the memory(i only have 1 stick to use btw), the beep stops. then why i put in the video card, issues start. still no video output, and the system goes back to starting up, then restarting.

no beeps at all. 2 pci-e cords from the psu hooked up to the graphics card.

OK.
Take the video card out. Do a CMOS reset and boot again with just the 1 stick of RAM.

amazingly, after just wiggling the video card, the thing worked. now my new problem is the computer always launches to the gigabyte mb screen, instead of launching w7.
