HAF 922: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0310583

Galaxy Nvidia GTX 465: (couldnt find link)

I have run into several issues:
- When I start the computer up, it turns on, then turns completely off, then back on again and stays on.
- No video output(video card LED lights and fan turns on)

I think they are all connected issues, can someone please help me fix them?

  1. Hello Betrayed1336;

Did you ever have it running and stable? How long ago did you build it?

just got done with it today. i had the machine turn on and stay on for a while, but then that stopped working. never had any video output though.
  3. OK,
work your way through the forum's "System won't boot" and "no video output" checklist.
It has a very good chance of helping you ID and fix the problem.

yeah i did. sadly, it didnt work.
  5. In that checklist you'll find a link for breadboarding, try it and let us know if it works.

so i have began the breadboarding. i have just the cpu, cpu fan, psu, and speaker hooked up. the speaker never does anything but click when i first tourn on the system. it never beeps or anything. isnt it supposed to beep if i have no memory installed?
  7. Does your motherboard have a speaker?
    Add 1 stick of RAM.

i fixed the speaker, i had it installed backwards. i also added one stick of ram to the DDR3_3 slot. i am now getting one beep every 10-30 seconds.
  9. Is your monitor hooked up?

Not atm. should i begin installing the video card and hooking up the monitor?
  11. Try 1 stick in the 3_1 slot. If that doesn't work keep trying the other sticks of RAM.
  12. I think you want the video card and monitor at this point.

Ok, so when i move the memory(i only have 1 stick to use btw), the beep stops. then why i put in the video card, issues start. still no video output, and the system goes back to starting up, then restarting.
  14. Any beep codes? PCI-e power connectors hooked up to the video card?

no beeps at all. 2 pci-e cords from the psu hooked up to the graphics card.
  16. OK.
Take the video card out. Do a CMOS reset and boot again with just the 1 stick of RAM.

alright, now do i put the video card back in?

none at all. the only one ive ever gotten was when the stick of ram was in the DDR3_3 slot.
  20. What pattern was the beep in the 3_3 slot?

1 beep lasting about 2-3 seconds.
  22. Im looking at the beep code chart. - I think that says try the video card again.

ive pushed the thing in its slot as far as it wants to go. the monitor just displays no signal. im lost at what else to try.
  24. Any beep codes?

amazingly, after just wiggling the video card, the thing worked. now my new problem is the computer always launches to the gigabyte mb screen, instead of launching w7.
  26. Are you still breadboarding?
Is the Hard drive hooked up?
  27. It won't boot 7 at all?
