Gts 250 with 375 mw

Hello,
I have a dell precision 390 with power supply of 375W with(50 degree Celsius max).And i want to buy a new card....Thinking of gts 250 512 mb evga(which is a better cooling fan).
I want to ask whether this card will work or not.
Tell me if anyone has a better option.And I have a 17inch LCD.

It will work, just dust out your system so the heat won't kill the PC.

I saw that minimum requirement is 400W.So would it be a problem or not?

It will be fine. The CPU in you Dell doesn't consume too much power and Dell also under-rates the PSU (made by FSP) in their PCs. The PSU actual total power is probably 400w - 420w.

it could work. the thing is that the gts 250 has a max power draw of 150w. why not go for the gts 450 instead? that has a max power draw of 106w.

It also requires less Amps to power the card while yeilding better performance since the 450 is the 250's replacement.

Well...Gts 450 is not available in my country yet....I want to know whats the price difference b/w these 2 cards...

on newegg they're pretty much the same price atm. if the gts450 isnt there yet, what about the HD5750/5770.

US dollars? In US on Newegg the Radeon 5750 is below $120, while the 450 is about $10 more.

well the cheapest GTS450 on newegg is $104.99 and the cheapest GTS250 is $109.99. the cheapest HD5750 is also $109.99 and the cheapest HD5770 is $119.99

Well...I dont want a 1gb card...I am fine with 512mb...any opinions which suites me best for 375W...i want to play games like fifa 2011 and assassins creed 2 and cod black ops...

The 5670 comes in 512MB flavors, but the only low-profile manufacterer is MSI, which I don't recommend because I recently bought a 5570 with that brand and driver suppport was terrible (AMD's drivers work just fine).

there are 512mb HD5750 and 5770s out there aswell. his power supply has more chance of powering a HD6850 than a GTX250 but thats out of his price range.
