Hey guys,
I just put together my first pc and I have noticed an unusual problem. If I leave the computer sitting for awhile, the computer will remain active while the monitor goes to sleep. However, moving the mouse,pressing keys or pressing the power or reset button once does not put the display back on the screen. The monitor remains in sleep mode with no input signal from the computer even thought the pc is still running as normal. I then have to hold the power button down to turn the pc off and then restart. It restarts and resumes windows just like I left if before turning it off. This may be a silly mistake on my part, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to get this thing straightened out.
