dual-class question

I'm playing as a human kensai with the following stats:

str-10
dex-18
const-18
int-17
wis-14
cha-13

I wanted to try the famous kensai/mage combo but now
as I'm actually ready to dual I notice that the dual-class
button is greyed out and is not an option I can pick.

Given the above stats (and my character really is a human)
shouldn't I be able to dual to either the mage or the thief class?
You need a 16+ in the prime requisite of your second class,
right?

Is there any reason why my character shouldn't be allowed to dual?

RCV: You need 17+ in all of the prime requisits of the second class,
**and** 15+ in all of the PRs of the first class.

Thus your strength is way-yyy too low to dual the Kensai to anything.
Remember, to dual class you have to be, basically, exceptional in both the
classes - the one you are currently advancing as AND the one you are
switching to.

So without some kind of fiddly-work on this character, they are never
going to become a mage or a thief...... :-(
