Will heatsink fit?

V8 is know to be big and bulky
kinda of heavy for mobo IMHO
most members will tell you that the 212+ is a little cheaper

and a better cooler plus is 120mmX120mmX25mm

(edit that is fan dimensions not fan and heatsink - Tired :) )

(just researched that on this thread - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/307914-28-what-cooling-system-build)
It is a toms hardware recommended buy
a;sp two of these would be good to add if you really need the cooling

edit - will come back with total dimensions

this is a sticky on Toms for installint the Hyper 212+
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/258023-29-installing-cooler-master-hyper
this is specs from CM
http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2731
it is little smaller than V8
V8 is
Fan Dimensions 120 x 120 x 25mm
Heatsink Dimensions 120 x 120 x 158mm
Weight 1.91 lbs.

while the 212+ is

Heat Sink Dimensions

122 x 92 x 160 mm

Fan Dimension (W / H / D)

120 x 120 x 25 mm

main thing is to watch the ram slots and height of ram
according to sticky
if the ram slots are close than you need a low profile ram
not Ripjaws or other tall ram

The thing about the V8 is its weight
the 212+ cools better and from reviews is quieter
