SR1610NX does not detect integrated network card

That's quite an old machine - I wonder if its NIC has gone West (South in the US). Is there any sign of life in it - a light on when you plug a cable in, etc? Does it show in Device Manager and if does, is there a yellow mark beside it? Maybe it's disabled in BIOS.
