Hello all,

I have currently my old Mercury cabinet recently upgraded with the following components for HTPC use (occassional gaming).

Intel i3 530 2.93Ghz
Intel DH55PJ microATX motherboard
Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Sony DVD writer
Seagate 1TB SATA harddisk
Western Digital 1TB SATA harddisk
Sapphire HD6670 1GB DDR5 graphics
Corsair VX450 PSU

I am planning to upgrade my cabinet to Corsair Elite 343 as I will have my old components (p4 2.4GHz, Intel 865GBF, 2.256GB DDR RAM, Seagate 160GB HDD, Asus Geforce AGP 128MB graphics and Mercury cabinet retained from my current system) for occassional browsing/small games for wife & kid.

I initially planned the Cooler Master Elite 360 which was apt for my HTPC use & appearance but read in a review saying that HD4xxx series doesn't seem to fit inside. So, I googled whether Cooler Master Elite 343 would fit the above current config including my HD 6670 graphics card. I am planning to add the rear 80mm and side 80mm fans inside the Elite 343 apart from the front 120mm fan which comes preinstalled with the cabinet.

Your earlier comments are greatly appreciated as I am on the verge of buying this cabinet also have a tight budget for investing more.

Thanks for your reply, pls see the link about the Elite 360 review which says about the graphics card of HD 3870 & 3870 x 2 card won't fit inside.

This made me choose Elite 343, but I am not able to see any information mentioned like in ELite 360 for graphics card.

Yes, you are correct I now noticed that both Elite 360 & 343 are same in depth i.e 17.32 inches only slight variation in width & height. As per sapphire HD6670 the lenght of card is 6.45inches.

So, I hope that this card fits right into both the cabinets. In that case, I will choose the Elite 360 which has the benefit of keeping it either vertically or horizontally for HTPC use.

Thank you very much :)
