This question seems dumb, but I haven't been able to find an answer on the manufacturer's site or the web.
Every modern computer I've ever used had a pair of 3.5mm connectors for sound: one for the speaker, one for the mic. I now have a laptop with a single 3.5mm connector. The icon next to connector shows a headset with a mic boom, so I assume it combines both channels.
What is this kind of connector called? I need to get a single-to-double adapter to attach my headset, but I don't know what to look for.
