Hello,
I am considering purchasing an HP Pavilion p6710f but it has only a vga output. I like the Hanspree 25 inch monitor and want to go with that and I could just stay with VGA but wonder if I should get a video card that supports HDMI? Would I be missing something if I just stay with VGA? I am not a gamer by the way, just a software developer.
Thanks.

You wont be missing anything by just using the VGA. But if it would settle your mind you can get an adapter for next to nothing.
