Ok I wanted to get one of the new systems but the games I want are usually on all three systems so which one would be the best to get??? I'm Thinkin X-Box because its components are better then Gamecubes and PS2 what ya'll think would be the way to go?

I'd go with XBox especially with the release of XBOX Live coming out next week and all the new titles coming out this winter.

XBOX live could be good for those that like online play, but if you like EA Sports games Ive heard they will not be playable online on XBOX Live...EA apparently doesnt want to use MS network. Other than that the XBOX is a pretty well rounded system.

However....I wouldnt look at just specs or components. The XBOX get sales for games like Halo and the PS2 gets sales for games like GTA3 or FFX. It really all comes down to which system has more of the games that you want to play.

On a side note, I have a GC, love it, games like Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing rule.

I have a gamecube and mario sunshine is [-peep-] awesome, and it is the hardest mario of all time, not even mario brothers 2(japan) was this hard.

Love every second of it.

Ya know, I only need 2 more blue coins, and I could get my last star! I can't find them, it's so hard among 238 others I could've passed by! If only I had a visual guide.
And do try Animal Crossing if you may, childish but fun!

i had to return mario sunshine(rental) but its my next purchase, kicking ass at rogue squadron 2 now w00t.(which I bought for 16 bucks at half.com.

every game for xbox will soon be relased for PC!

Sp i would pick either ps2 or gamecube.

Metroid prime is coming out for gamecube and it looks fricken awsome! plus gamecube is 150 bucks! can't go wrong with that and it has some decent games. I have the gamecube and mariosunshine is sweet! metroid is coming out soon and from the commercial it looks awsome!

I'm gonna get the ps2 today for ffx plus i have a bunch of old ps games.

with xbox, it's just another pc and it's a waste if you have a computer because every game for xbox will soon be released for pc.

Life is irrelivent and irrational.

To me it would depend on what ages might be getting the most out of the game system...

I just would like to state, not directly to you, that GC is NOT a kiddie system. Please don't think Nintendo still has that image. GC will have FPS like Metroid Prime, has REvil and will even have what I am drooling about, Starcraft Ghost. Yes it continues to have children games, but even those are so much fun for adults. Animal Crossing is just pure fun despite the overchildish appearance.

So I hope people will stop thinking kids when they think of Nintendo and Gamecube. To me, all 3 consoles are great, I just made a gamble and went with GC for its price. No console war debates here please.
