I understand that they haven't come up with a consensus on the pin headers for usb 3.0 yet, and that's why current cases with usb3 front panels require u route the usb cable to the back motherboard usb 3.0 slot.

BUT

they have pci-e plug in usb 3.0 cards... Why don't they just make the front panel usb 3.0 plug into a pci-e slot? :bounce:

Considering they've gone as far as to make pci-e internal usb 3.0 cards presumably for the front panels to plug into... [ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ]

There are some Mobo's out with usb 3.0 headers onboard as well as on the i/o plate,
it does however require some form of adaptor to plug the usb 3.0 plug into though atm

My AsRock Am3+ Board has one, it was a deciding feature of the plate for me,
I just think its a coming standard, soon it'll be on all but the cheapest mobo's,
