Okay, my turn to ask a question. This computer is a homebrew built. Built it about 2 weeks ago. Everything ran great. But today I've gotten 2 blue screens of death.

1st one was bad pool call

2nd Memory management

From what I gather I think one or both of my RAM modules might be defective. It is Corsair Vengence 1600mhz DDR3 8GB modules. 2 of them.

MOBO- Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5. Phenom II 975 CPU.

So far I'm running Memtest x86. I've never used this program before, so I don't fully understand what its reporting to me beyond the fact that it doesnt look good.

Its found 43,000 errors and counting and has been running for only 5 minutes.

If you want copies of my dump files, I can upload them somehow,, but at any rate, any thoughts would be nice.

For the record, I HAVE NOT modified the RAM in any, way, shape or form, the system is completely original settings, no overclocking of anything except the video card is factory overclocked (Zotac GTX 550TI)

Yea, it ended up going up to 64,000.. I shut it down, pulled one of the RAM sticks out and I'm checking em one at a time. So far running the first stick.. Same deal up to 12,032 errors in the first 90 seconds
