What are the difference between asrock extreme 3 , 4, and 7?

i have troubled choosing MB for my build, it is intended for gaming and for what i heard/saw MB in no way going to effect fps performance while gaming

so between the 3

ASRock Z68 EXTREME3 GEN3 Lucid Virtu supported (LGA1155, Intel Z68. USB3, SATA3)
ASRock Z68 EXTREME4 GEN3 Lucid Virtu supported (LGA1155, Intel Z68. USB3, SATA3)
ASRock Z68 EXTREME7 GEN3 Lucid Virtu supported (LGA1155, Intel Z68. USB3, SATA3)

what are di fference between them?? and im using i5 fyi,

Ok, the E4 is like the E3 but adds more Sata 6.0 ports, the E7 is like the E4 but adds a NVIDIA NF200 Chip Onboard (adds more lanes to speed up SLI and Xfire)

I would get the E3gen3

I have the E4G3... its a great mobo... highly recommend. If youre upgrading, i would say to get this.

The only way it would affect gaming performance is if you SLI (or run dual graphics cards). So if you currently have a GTX 560 lets say. your mobo has a x16 slot for that (the fastest). but expansion slots on the E3 maybe only be x8. so your second GTX 560 card would only run with an x8 bus. which would slow down both cards.

However, this only matters if you are going to run dual GPUs. If not, disregard it all. if the price differential is small, i would just go with the E4. But if its over $25, then just get the E3 and call it a day...
