Fill out the Sticky i posted, it will tell us what your Budget is as well as Monitor Resolution. That way somebody can build you an extreme gaming computer that fits your Budget.

I'm probably not gonna be super active in this forum for a bit longer i am learning a bunch at overclock.net, i now have zero exhaust fans seriously and have better temps :D I decided i need to learn more before I give more advice i have only built one computer so i'm really a n00b. Glad to hear you're raising money is it through squidoo or what?

That's really good I don't have a job so getting money for upgrades is always difficult for me I'm really good with money though and rarely spend it when I don't absolutely have to so I manage upgrades through presents and allowance

^ Yeah exactly I'm just saving this money until 32nm GPU's (Q4 2011 apparently according to AMD thank god) and BD, hopefully AMD sticks to the current cheaper game plan. I need a CPU upgrade and GPU for sure. Mainly because of Battlefield 3, that looks like it'd kill even my 5850 clocked to a 5870 haha. Specially since they're devving that game off DX11 not porting from console.

I'm not an FPS guy but BF3 looks super fun I might try it out, my 5850 be runs hot (75 C under stress-testing MSI Kombustor) so I think I'll just buy a shaman and overclock it or I will wait for Q4 and get a 7950 or whatever they decide to call it

I just bought an archon for CPU cooling @ mwave for a reasonable price and am going to try to reach 4ghz with my i5 750 it is 100% stable at 3.6ghz but temps are a little too high (72 C IBT High) to go any higher as for GPUs I will just have to see what amd and nvidia is coming out with, I will keep my CPU until it starts to limit my GPU but an i5 @ 4 should be enough for the next gen GPUs

^ Yeah.

I just shot myself in the foot, quite literally. I dropped my phone on my foot. That cracked the LCD on my G2. That's going to cost $50 + the DIY itself which is a scary process since a phone's parts are much more delicate than a computer's. Gawd this sucks. I guess my total profit is only $80... Frick.

Uhhh setup as in my build? 955 @ 3.6 no voltage tweak, cooled by a V8, OC'd with a MSI 790FX-GD70 (Hopefully BD will be backwards compatible with the 790FX, since MSI announced backwards compatibility with the 890XX series), 5850 running @ 1000/1305, VelociRaptor 300gb, all powered by a Cooler Master Silent Pro 700w and put into an Antec 902.
