I have just received the parts for my first PC build and I look forward to putting it all together. I am looking to sell it to see how much money I can make -- my budget was around £1000

Here are the specs:
[CPU]Core i7 2600
[RAM] 4 x 2GB @ 1600MHz DDR3 dual channel
[GPU] 1 GB GTX 460
[HDD] 2 x SATA 6Gb/s 500GB
[PSU] Corsair 600W
[MB] Asus p8p67 b3 rev
[CASE] CM 690 II Advanced
[COOLER] Zaward Vapor 120
Also with USB 3.0, Blu Ray and 300Mbps WLAN

What do you think? I intend for it to be used for gaming.
Also, out of interest how much would you value it at? and have you got any tips on selling it (I will sell on eBay)?

Thanks :)

The PSU is ok (what series is it?), but you should have gone for the i5-2500K instead of the i7-2600K; you wasted some money on that since the i7 doesn't provide any benefits to gaming.

Also, the 6 Gbps SATA drives should have been a SSD + 1TB Samsung F3. Your performance would have been much more noticeable for about the same price.

Dunno about the RAM; the determining factor is the Cas Latency, not the speed. Also, you would have been better off getting a 2x4GB kit, since a 4x2GB kit leaves no room for upgrading without replacing the current RAM.

If you had saved on the other parts, you could've at least gone for a GTX 560. The 460 is pretty outdated now.
