Right now I have the extreme3 in the cart, is there any reason to go with the 4 over the 3?

The system is primarily for gaming and web browsing.

Going to run intel i5 2500.

Solution
Extreme4 has a 3rd PCIe 2 more SataIII and more USB3.0 and more power phases

3rd PCI allows for TRI SLI (or Crossfire). You can still run quad SLI with this board

More USB 3.0 are only handy if you do multiple USB data exchanges. Such as using USB 3.0 bluray drive, USB3.0 removable external HD, etc. you just wont be able to plug them into the front port of your case and get the USB 3.0 speed (you still get 2.0 speed)

More power phases are only important if you want to overclock to the extreme height (5.0 ghz and beyond)
