New Build: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 VGA_LED lights up, no video.

Greetings!

Was hoping to get some help here. I recently put together my first computer (yay!) and I'm pretty sure I've got everything hooked up right.

Turned it on, and of course having no problems to this point I expected something, and sure enough the VGA_LED lights up red and doesn't turn off. I get no picture and cannot move onwards into installing OS and whatnot.

Speccs:
CPU: i5 2550K
Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
GPU: Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6950

I did some searching, and have tried popping out my GPU and seeing if the mobo's on board will do anything, but I still get the VGA_LED red light.

The mobo's other lights (RAM, Boot) all turn on and off, so it seems they're passing properly.

Any help would be fantastic.

Thank you ever so much. I somehow managed to skip plugging power to my Graphics card and assumed that because the fans were running that it was receiving power.

Gotta start somewhere I guess.
